I work in the office of east orange dyfs. ( NOT A DYFS WORKER)
all I do for DYFS is assessment.However I am inside the doors. I
see what they are put through, I see when they get yelled at, I
see when they get the referral and have to go out at 9pm or 3 am
when they came to work at 8am, I seen then placed abuse children
and work a 14 hr shift just to find safe home for theese
children, I seen them so stress out that they have a family but
they are not home because of abuse children and much much much
more which I don't have time to type. My point is that don't
blame them for doing thier jobs.... They get a call and they have
to respond. bottom line. They can win or loose. if they respond
to a referral they are wrong and if they don't they are wrong
too.. so what do you suggest? See is like this if they get a call
they have too respond even if no proof of abuse.... if someones
calls me and says you know jonh does is not eating, dirty I would
want to help SO LET IT BE LET THEM DO THIER JOBS!
if someones calls on you, I would suggest if you have nothing to
hide do what your told to do to be able to keep your children.
I would never do anything that would hurt my son in anyway.th
emore difficult you are with DYFS the harder it will be for
yourself and kids.
yeah you got those spiteful neighbors, friend ect... but you know
what if your clean there's nothing to worry about.
need I say more....
